SEA FREIGHT LCL PERSONAL EFFECTS
When your personal effects arrive by sea freight LCL, it takes approximately 3-5 days for the shipping container to be unpacked before the goods can be inspected. The sea freight depot only provides a short period of time before storage starts. Platinum® Freight attempts to clear your personal effects as soon as the cargo has been unpacked from the shipping container.
We aim to have all paperwork provided by you before the shipment departs for Australia. We provide a detailed list of the files that we will need for you to email us so that we can start the process.
Once the goods arrive, they will be unpacked from the container, then we will arrange for Quarantine to inspect the goods. Once the goods have been released we will then advise you
- where to collect the goods or
- we will quote you to deliver the goods to you
