Ocean rowing boat Avalon will shortly be embarking on an exciting expedition across 5000 miles of the Indian Ocean from Western Australia to South Africa. The challenge is being undertaken for 3 charities – MS Australia, Save the Elephant and Ubunya (South Africans Children’s Charity). This epic voyage takes courage and tenacity. On the ocean, a gruelling shift schedule is necessary so it means serious commitment and dedication from each man or woman.
But before making this momentous voyage, the boat first had to make it’s way from the UK to Geraldtown Australia.
